I view this series of work as hopeful but also painfully honest. Home is where the heart is, but our heads are filled with the expectations of motherhood in modernity. I believe the fluid nature of time plays into the push-pull of accepting our adult selves while still striving for child-like happiness and contentment. It really seemed to be all about the songs this year. I was watching from the Nightingale night club on a big screen, where I was performing later on that night, and the atmosphere was amazing! And she sang flawlessly! She did really well to barely even flinch! .
